The term ‘Gamification’ was invented in 2002 by a British computer programmer Nick Pelling. 
Yu-Kai Chou, a leading gamification expert, defined gamification as “The craft of deriving all the fun and addicting elements found in games and applying them to real-world or productive activities”. In simple words gamification is FUN! 
With the help of gamified system, initially boring and difficult behaviors can be transformed into entertainment.
Examples of Gamification: point scoring and competition, rewards program, leaderboards, loyalty programs and in more deeper level enjoyment, positive feeling and happiness.
Why do people love games?
Because human beings naturally desire socializing, learning, mastery, achievement, and status. Games entertain us and move to a world where everything is possible. It’s FUN.
